The gymnasium exudes character within the walls of the school. It is an important piece of Loyola’s history and must be preserved. That is why restoration of the gym is imperative. The gymnasium will receive a complete face lift; new paint, retractable bleachers, enclosure of the old windows and lighting upgrades will modernize its appearance. In addition to the restoration of the gym, areas in the main building also are in need of upgrades. The following upgrades will change the character and feel of these spaces, bringing consistent quality to all three floors of the main building:
• Flooring, walls, doors and hardware will receive finish upgrades throughout all three floors of the main building.
• New air conditioning units will be added to serve the science lab and library.
• The labs, library and new classrooms will receive new ceilings and lighting.
