Relocation of the library and computer center will open those spaces on the third floor for classroom use. Renovation of the old library space will provide three new classrooms, and renovation of the old computer room will provide one new classroom. Thus, Loyola faculty and staff will make use of a total of four new teaching spaces. These new classrooms will each receive new walls, finishes and lighting.
- Additional renovations are planned for the existing chemistry lab. By removing the antiquated piping and sinks, we can convert this space to a flexible science lab that will serve multiple functions for Loyola students. The open student tables will also serve other courses should scheduling allow use of this space. Two additional teaching labs will be renovated with new demonstration tables, finishes and student tables and chairs.
